The Morro Bay Maritime Museum in Central California has many ships with historical significance to the area. The Montebello was the first US ship torpedoed after Pearl Harbor in 1941. The ship was carrying fuel and was a prized target. The Alma was a local tugboat that came to the rescue and picked up the survivors. It is on display at the Morro Bay Maritime Museum. This is a lego build of that ship. To view the actual ship, please visit morrobaymaritime.org.
